Hi, I’m Heather and this is my husband Jose. My husband was trying to earn some extra money to support his family and a neighbor asked him to help cut a tree. In the process, a large heavy branch hit him very hard on his left bicep, throwing him to the ground. It completely broke, displacing the bone. He went to the ER, who temporarily put a splint and told him to see an orthopedic surgeon; however, no insurance and no money has made this impossible.

It is extremely difficult for us to ask for help; however, he cannot work and I am disabled, therefore we can’t afford a doctor or to pay rent/bills. We’re in trouble and must do something drastic. This is terribly difficult, but we need help! Anything helps. It sounds silly, but we have our two babies to care for as well. Pita is a 12.5-year-old senior cat and Nova is our baby, a year-old Bombay. Yes, these are kitties, and my husband’s medical condition and our home expenses are more important, but our cats are my emotional support animals, so they are equally important to me.

In any case, I don’t know exactly how much an ortho doctor will be, but combined with rent, bills, food, etc., it’s a start. Our rent is $1200 a month. Just to give an idea. Please, can you help my husband and I? Thank you in advance. Xx
