Jose is a hard worker, as well as one of the kindest humans we’ve ever met. He practices Spanish with me each day, always patient and with a sense of humor. He makes me smile every single day with his consistent positive attitude. He never asks for anything, and rather just gives. He loves his family, and his travels to places like LA and Hawaii. Jose is a pure source of joy, and we are so lucky to enjoy his presence.

Recently, Jose’s apartment building and apartment burned down in a fire. He lost everything and now has no home. We want to support him in getting his life back together. Jose has such generosity of spirit. He cares for the building as though it’s his own, and its tenants as though we were his family. He even goes out of his way to buy special treats specifically for our dog, all because she likes his better than the ones the building provides. We love Jose. He is like family to us and has been a reliable, respectable, and hardworking man for nearly 40 years.

The funds raised will help Jose find a new home and rebuild his life after this tragedy. They will go toward temporary housing, replacing essentials, and supporting him while he is unable to work.
