Hello Westview Wildcat Family,
Earlier this year Jose' Sarabia-Maldonado, a senior at Westview and one of our own Wildcat Soccer players, was diagnosed with cancer.
Jose' has had to take time off from school to undergo several week long chemotherapy treatments. Jose and his family could use our support to help pay for his medical and other bills.
From Jose’:
"I found out about my cancer on January 1st of 2019, they told me it was nothing at first but 2 weeks later they called me back saying I had testicular cancer. I had surgery on February 13th and the following Monday, I started a cycle of chemo that is supposed to take 3 cycles. Last week, I just finished my second cycle.
This whole experience has been very difficult on me and my family. I am senior at Westview. This cancer came around at the worst time. I'm on my way to graduating, but I have classes to pass and my senior project is due. I had to stop doing the one thing I love, soccer! All I do is stay home and hope I don't get sick.
As for my family, my mother had to stop working and my dad is trying his best but both of my parents are trying hard just like me."
Join me in helping Jose' #kickcancer! And please share!
Thank you,
Lynn Asbury
