Help Our Father Jose Jacquez Get the Surgeries He Needs.

Our family is going through a difficult journey, and we're reaching out for your support. Our loving father, Jose Jacquez, urgently needs heart bypass surgery and a kidney transplant. His daughter, Miriam Silva, is a perfect donor match and was ready to give him her kidney-but during pre-op testing, doctors discovered 98% blockages in three of his arteries, delaying the transplant, until after heart surgery. After months on dialysis and setbacks, Jose is now stable and scheduled for bypass surgery on April 21, 2025. Once he recovers, he will move forward with the kidney transplant. This long road has put an enormous financial strain on our family. Our parents rely on social security, and their insurance doesn't cover everything. Miriam, who is not only Jose's caregiver but also his kidney donor, has used up all her time off to care for him. She is currently on unpaid leave, and after donating her kidney, she'll need at least four weeks more weeks off- without pay- to recover. We're asking for your help to ease this burden so Miriam can stay and focused on her father's care and her own recovery.
