My name is Jose Carmona and I'm currently a senior student at the University of Central Florida. I'm on my last semester and hopefully plan to graduate this upcoming May. I'm earning my degree in education to finally start my career in education and achieve my dream of teaching literature. My educational journey has been a wild one with covid, personal problems, and money not allowing me to fully pursue it full time until a few years ago. Because of this, I've met the limits to what my financial aid affords me this semester and will receive not only nothing for my upcoming semester, but full out of state costs as well. I'm also completing my second internship, which means I am working full-time at a public school this semester, Monday through Friday, also without pay.

I only need this semester's tuition and I will be done with university, where I can begin to live out my life as a teacher, trying to make some sort of impact on the present and future in any way I can. I simply want to be done especially with the finish line so close. Especially when I know that teaching is something I fell in love with and want to do regardless of how difficult it can be.
