This year has been the hardest of my life. I lost my son to suicide earlier this year, and the pain and grief have been overwhelming. Since then, it's been a struggle just to get through each day. I lost my job three months ago because I couldn't focus, and things have only gotten harder since then.

I was supposed to start working at Papa John's two weeks ago, and I was hopeful that things would finally turn around. But just as I was about to start, my car broke down. Without a car, I can't get to work or do DoorDash deliveries, which was another way I was making ends meet. Right now, I'm getting a small amount from unemployment, but it's barely enough to cover rent and groceries, and I'm still coming up short. My landlord has already told me I have one month to move if I can't keep up with rent, and I have nowhere else to go.

I don't like asking for help because I'm usually the one helping others. Unfortunately, all the people I helped this year are nowhere to be found. If I can just get my car fixed and insured, I can start working again and keep moving forward with my life. I'm doing my best not to fall into depression, and I'm putting my situation in God's hands, praying for a much better 2026. Any support you can give would mean the world to me.
