I met Jose February of this year in San Luis, Mexico while I was there with my church serving on a mission trip. We built a house for him and his two children who are 18 & 7. He lost his wife and mother of his children leaving Jose to be the sole provider for his family. During the construction of his Casita, Jose helped us every step of the way, even bringing his seven-year-old daughter to help. He is one of the most hard-working people I've ever met and has a true heart of Gold. Being around so many people who have so little but love so much was truly life changing. Creating this GoFundMe to help Jose through a difficult time as he requires abdominal surgery and time off for recovery. If you feel so led to do so, please donate, all funds will be directed to José and his church who will be helping him along the way to make sure he has everything he and his family needs. If you're unable to donate, we graciously ask that you please pray for Jose and his family for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. The cost in USD is $4,900 dollars. We're hoping to raise around $5,500 to help cover surgery, recovery costs, and help ease any time off work stress. All other funds will be directed to assist the local Church that provides ministry in the area.
