Let’s Help José in His Fight Against Cancer

José González is 66 years old. He has no children to care for him, and today we —his nieces and nephews, his only family— are standing by his side in this difficult battle.

A noble and hardworking man, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need… now it’s him who needs ours.

A few weeks ago, José underwent emergency surgery for a colon tumor that caused an intestinal obstruction. The diagnosis was devastating: the disease is in an advanced stage and has also affected his liver.

After surgery, he faced severe complications — doctors had to operate again, and later he developed respiratory and urinary infections that have greatly weakened his body.

Although he has received care in public hospitals, the costs of medical treatment, medications, tests, surgical supplies, and special nutrition have gone far beyond our means.

We’ve done everything within our power to support him, but medical expenses keep growing, and we now need help so José can continue fighting with dignity.

We are currently waiting for the biopsy results, which will determine the chemotherapy treatment José urgently needs to keep fighting for his life.

Ayudemos a José en su lucha contra el cáncer

José González tiene 66 años. No tiene hijos que lo cuiden, y hoy somos sus sobrinos —su única familia— quienes intentamos acompañarlo en esta dura batalla.

Un hombre noble, trabajador, siempre dispuesto a tender una mano a quien lo necesitara… hoy es él quien necesita de la nuestra.

Hace unas semanas fue operado de emergencia por un tumor en el colon que le causó una obstrucción intestinal. El diagnóstico fue devastador: la enfermedad está en una etapa avanzada y ha comprometido también su hígado.

Tras la cirugía sufrió graves complicaciones: debieron reintervenirlo y luego enfrentó una infección respiratoria y otra urinaria que han debilitado mucho su cuerpo.

Aunque ha recibido atención en hospitales públicos, los gastos médicos, medicamentos, estudios, materiales quirúrgicos y alimentación especial han sobrepasado completamente nuestras posibilidades.

Hemos hecho todo lo que está a nuestro alcance para ayudarlo, pero los gastos médicos siguen creciendo y necesitamos apoyo para que José pueda seguir luchando con dignidad.

Ahora esperamos los resultados de la biopsia, que definirán el tratamiento de quimioterapia que José necesita con urgencia para seguir luchando.
