In March of 2018, Jose began experiencing flares of pain throughout his body. He had multiple tests done but doctors were unable to pinpoint the problem. Jose continued on with his life, working and providing for his family. The flareups were often and extremely painful. At times, he couldn't even walk. In August 2018, Jose was diagnosed with ALL, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He is currently in the hospital undergoing chemotherapy. Jose is the father of five brave boys who look up to him for strength.

Jose has a long road to recovery ahead of him. All donations will go towards his treatment and care afterwards.
