My name is José Andrés, I am 18 years old and currently on the journey of starting Med School.
Helping others and seeing the huge impact I can make whether it be small or big, fills my heart and confirms that that is where God is calling me. In my country, education is a privilege and something not many have access to. With God’s provision and help, I was able to be accepted into Med School by passing a very demanding exam which hours of hard studying paid off.
Currently, my biggest challenge is transportation. The University which I’m attending is 44 Miles away from where I live, 95% of my family's resources are going into tuition, and the other 5% to food and household bills. Therefore we don't have the means to afford transportation, currently, I have to walk and when possible take public transportation. Honduras is in a tough situation with organized crime all over the country, making public transit highly unsafe and hostile. Therefore I’m asking for your help and contribution so I can buy a secondhand car which would open up so many doors for me and my family. I want to be able to continue my dream of becoming a doctor and finish my medical degree. In advance, I want to thank you for taking the time and consideration! God Bless.
Update 3/21/22
We still have this fundraiser up for José Andres since we still have to reach our goal of 7k. We want to thank everyone who has donated, God bless you, provide and multiply to you!
We will continue to pray to be able to reach our goal to be able to buy a used car for him.
