Help Jose Andino Be There for His Ailing Father
Donation protected
Hello everyone. I absolutely hate doing this.
I was next to my mother during her last 24 hours of life and was there when she passed away. It was incredibly brutal watching her die a year ago. Since then my brother and I have been my father’s caregivers because we could never put him in a nursing home. My parents were amazing people and parents who raised 2 police officers and me your Coach. We grew up in Carol city and we all became something special in life because of our parents.
My incredible father has been in the Veterans hospital for the last 3 weeks dealing with multiple health issues that have become worse but he is still fighting.
My Father isn’t able to speak for himself so it’s incredibly important that one of us be here at all times. Which means sleeping in a chair then going to work and showering there at the mid day point. We have had to stand up for him a few times, so that he isn’t dismissed and given up on because of his age. He’s 87.
Now one of the studios that I work at is permanently closing down. Normally I would just get more classes at other locations and other fitness companies but I’m going to have to use that free time to be next to my father. We are fighting for him and he is fighting for us. When I had a partner I was able to take time off to be with any of my parents when they were in the hospital and be financially stable, but now I’m a single income household.
So I’ll humbly accept any help so that I can be next to my Father in this crucial moment. There’s not much time left so I need to be there for him. He cannot go alone!
Thank you for taking a moment to read this.
