Help Jose and Bella find stability after homelessness.

Hello, my name is Jose. Earlier this year, my life was turned upside down. In February, my mom passed away after battling dementia. I was her full-time caregiver, and losing her meant I also lost my purpose, my home, and my job — all in a single day.
Since then, it’s been a tough road. I stayed briefly with my father in Hesperia, but when I found a new job with Metro Micro in the San Fernando Valley, I began commuting nearly 2 hours each way. Eventually, due to personal differences, I had to leave my dad’s home. With nowhere else to go, I’ve been living out of my car.
Through all of this, I’ve had one constant companion: Bella, my rescue dog. I adopted her four years ago, and she’s my best friend and emotional support. She’s a pit mix, and sadly, dogs like her are often euthanized if surrendered to a shelter. I couldn’t let that happen to her. That’s why, even while being homeless, I’ve been paying $50 a day to keep her safe in doggy daycare while I work.
Every day is a struggle — trying to survive, feed both of us, and just get through to the next day. I’m doing my best, but I can’t catch up. What I need now is a little help to get a fresh start.
I’m raising funds to:
• Cover first month’s rent and a security deposit so I can get stable housing near my job
• Keep Bella safe and fed
• Afford basic essentials so I can continue working and get back on my feet
Losing my mom was devastating, but I’m trying to honor her by staying strong and doing the right thing. I just need a hand to get out of this situation.
If you can donate or even just share this page, it would mean the world to me and Bella. Thank you for reading, and God bless.
