Jorja, my daughter, has been given an incredible opportunity. In January, she was entered into the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) Times Square Video contest. Out of 2,700 applicants, Jorja was chosen to have her picture displayed on two jumbotrons in Times Square, right before the NDSS Buddy Walk. This is a huge honor and a moment that celebrates her achievements and the Down syndrome community.
We would love for Jorja to experience this moment in person, but traveling to New York comes with expenses. The funds raised will go directly towards hotel, airfare, and admission to events for Jorja and her parents. This trip would mean so much to Jorja, giving her the chance to see her photo shining in Times Square and to be part of a celebration that recognizes her and so many others. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we hope to share as a family.
Please consider donating to help Jorja get to New York! Your generosity will make a lasting impact and help us celebrate this milestone together. We are grateful for any support and excited to share this journey with you.
