Help Jorgen Nay March His Rookie Year With The Battalion
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Jorgen Nay,
I am trying to raise money to help pay for my rookie year's tuition at The Battalion Drum and Bugle Corps. I have participated in band for over 5 years and music in general for as long as I can remember. I have a strong passion for band and for the instruments I play. I am taking all the available band classes at Clearfield High School and am both Symphonic Band president and Marching Brass Field Caption. I love what I play and what I can do. I primarily play the trombone, both bass and tenor, and I learned the baritone and euphonium for marching band. I marched at Clearfield High for 2 years and was a part of the school's founding marching year. I got to see The Battalion and many other amazing Corps at the Corps Encore show in Ogden, UT, last year with my high school's marching band and fell in love.
After much hard work and dedication, I have had the awesome opportunity to attend, audition for, and be contracted for The Battalion. However, marching comes with a cost—the fees for this season total over $4,700. Since this is my rookie year, I don't have most of the essentials the veterans have that are returning to the activity. Though my goal is to fundraise to cover my tuition, anything and everything helps. All funds received will go towards tuition, supplies, and any other Drum Corps-related fees.
Thank you in advance for helping me reach this goal and make my dream and Drum Corps career come to life!
