Hello friends,

As many of you may know by now, my dad was involved in a tragic accident. He was driving a motorcycle and was struck by a vehicle. This happened in a small town and he had to be transported to a hospital in Guadalajara.

As a result of the accident, my dad fractured the left side of his cranium, which resulted in damage to his frontal lobe. The Neurosurgeons had to reconstruct his cranium. They say it’s a miracle that his temporal lobe was untouched. His left leg was fractured as well and he will be undergoing surgery to fix the broken bones. After he is released from the hospital, my dad will need to see a plastic surgeon to reconstruct part of the left side of his face. He has other minor injuries such as bruises and scratches. Per the doctors, he will have to be at the hospital for another month.

I am creating this GoFundMe to help with medical expenses, food, and housing while my family is out in Guadalajara. Anything will help and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for the well wishes and for your prayers. Please keep my dad in your thoughts. I know many of you know my dad and he has helped so many people and never asked for anything in return. I think it’s time we all help him in his time of need.

I love my dad and it’s difficult to see him like this. The moment I heard about the accident, I booked my flight and came out here. I was bursting in tears and asking myself why this had to happen to him. At the end of the day, I have to stay strong for my dad and family. I’ve been going to see him every day during visiting hours. He is not able to speak or see at the time but he can hear. I try my best to transmit calming energy and instill positive thoughts. I ask that anyone who visits my dad, stay strong and know that all of this is temporary. Love you all and let’s keep the momentum going.
