Help Jorge to study in USA

Hello,
This is Jorge Ahumada from Trujillo-Peru. I studied Music in Lima with a minor in Violin Performance. During the last 5 years I've worked in the National Youth Symphony Orchestra as violinist; however, in that period I discovered my true passion: orchestral conducting. In 2018 I became assistant conductor in the orchestra and last year I was admitted to University of Nebraska - Omaha (UNO) under world-renowned Maestro Miguel Harth-Bedoya to study my second bachelor degree in Orchestral Conducting, because it's never too late to follow your dreams! Although I was granted with a partial scholarship I still have to cover some of my cost of attendance such as tuition fee, books, living, among others. This is why I need your help to reach this aim. I know it's been a tough year for everybody, specially for artists, but I am still trying to emerge as a musician and I also believe  that is a good opportunity to help each other. Every donation counts!! I am really thankful in advance for your time to read this and I will really appreciate that you can help me to raise my goal to study in the USA and become a conductor to keep this wonderful art alive.

Soy Jorge Ahumada, de Trujillo, Perú. Estudié Música en Lima con mención en Ejecución en Violín. Durante los últimos 5 años trabajé en la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional Juvenil como violinista y en ese tiempo descubrí mi verdadera pasión: la dirección de orquesta. El 2018 me convertí en Asistente de Dirección en dicha orquesta y este último año fui admitido en la University of Nebraska - Omaha (UNO) en la clase del reconocido Maestro Miguel Harth-Bedoya para estudiar una segunda licenciatura en Dirección orquestal, porque nunca es tarde para seguir tus sueños! Aunque fui beneficiado con una beca parcial, aún me queda por cubrir parte del costo de asistir como matrícula, libros, vivienda, entre otros. Y es por esto que necesito su ayuda para cumplir ese objetivo. Ha sido un año difícil para todos, especialmente para los artistas, pero yo sigo intentando surgir como músico y también creo que es una buena oportunidad para ayudarnos entre nosotros. Toda donación cuenta! Muchas gracias por anticipado por dedicarme parte de su tiempo y apreciaré mucho que puedan ayudarme a alcanzar mi meta de estudiar en los EE.UU. y convertirme en director y así mantener este maravilloso arte vivo.
