Help Jorge Recover From Brain Surgery

Due to Jorge's tumour being so large, Jorge is having a very difficult time talking. He is unable to form his words and form proper sentences. He needs to be watched 24 hours/day due to being at a high risk of stroke and seizures due to his brain being so swollen. Today, we found out that his tumour was a Grade 2/3 tumour- instead of Grade 1. We are waiting for his swelling to go down so he could get an MRI to see if any remnants of the tumour were left from surgery. If so: he has a long road of radiation ahead of him. If everything was completely removed, it is very likely that the tumour will come back- even more aggressive- in 2-3 years. Since his tumour was a Grade 2- it is considered Malignant. The Cancer Specialist let us know that the tumour was unfortunately very aggressive and fast growing and his life-expectancy may be severely impacted due to this.


Our lives have been turned upside down in the last 2 weeks to say the least. Jorge was the breadwinner of the household. He took care of the house and everything in between. Due to him not being able to drive or work for many months ahead, I have made it my main focus to take care of him. Because of this, I will be shutting down The Lovers Boutique doors.
