Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out to ask for your support in Jordyn's fight against Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Nodular Sclerosis Type. At just 26 years old, Jordyn has been faced with an unexpected and life-altering diagnosis, and now more than ever, she needs our help.

In the recent weeks, Jordyn has not been feeling herself, and after some swelling in a lymph node in her neck and some worrisome scans, she was hospitalized over the 4th of July weekend until a biopsy could be done. The following Tuesday, Jordyn met with the oncologist and received the hard news that she has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Nodular Sclerosis Type. This type of cancer affects the lymphatic system, and while it is treatable, the road to recovery can be difficult and incredibly expensive.

Jordyn has been working as an autism habilitation therapist for our son Owen for the past 4 years. This kind of work takes place directly in our home multiple days per week, so she has definitely become part of our family during that time. She also is a beloved volleyball coach for Arizona Sky Volleyball Academy and often provides individual coaching and pet sitting to earn additional income. Jordyn is incredibly dedicated to each of her jobs and is dependable and hard-working. Having said this, these are all jobs that offer very limited insurance and/or paid sick time. This means that missed work throughout her journey will result in missed pay, and while she is determined to fight and overcome this, she cannot do it alone.

Jordyn has family and friends in both Ohio and Arizona who we know will rally around her and provide emotional support through this difficult time. However, between medical bills, missed opportunities for work, medications, and everyday living costs, we are also asking for your generosity to help alleviate some of the strain and allow Jordyn to focus her energy on healing and recovery.
