Our family is coming together to support Jordon Luc, whose life was suddenly altered by a traumatic accident.

Jordon is a 25-year-old autistic adult who had recently reached incredible milestones. He graduated from Fresno State, lives independently, works, and takes great pride in managing his own responsibilities. Maintaining his routine and independence has always been incredibly important to him.

Because of his disability, Jordon uses an electric scooter to get around and is known for being cautious and responsible. On this day, while riding his scooter through a crosswalk on his way to a meeting with someone within his program support, he was struck by a vehicle that had been rear-ended by a truck. What followed was a devastating accident that left him severely injured. As a result, Jordon sustained severe traumatic injuries, including: Multiple cranial fractures, including skull and orbital fractures and a Nasal fracture, Intracranial hemorrhages and head trauma. He has been hospitalized and is now facing a long and uncertain road to recovery. He is unable to return to his regular life, work, or routines at this time.

While Jordon is independent in many areas of his life, he is still autistic and requires support especially at this time. On top of his injuries, he is experiencing a lot of pain, anxiety, and emotional distress as his sense of safety and routine has been disrupted. His family is now providing full-time care while also working to maintain his living situation and financial responsibilities so that his independence can be preserved as much as possible during his recovery.

Beyond his personal accomplishments, Jordon is a deeply loved son, brother, nephew, friend and cousin. He is also a passionate supporter of Fresno State, faithfully attending sporting events and school activities, often traveling on his own, simply because he loved his school and wanted to support his teams. He is known for his kindness, dedication, and pride in what he has achieved.

We are asking for support to help cover medical expenses, ongoing care, and essential living costs while Jordon focuses on healing, As well as replacing his electric scooter that was lost in the accident. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial burden on his family and allow them to focus on what matters most which is his recovery and emotional well-being.
