Instead, she will be spending her birthday — and Christmas — inside Brenner’s Children’s Hospital, fighting a battle no child should ever have to face.

Jordie was recently diagnosed with leukemia, and her fight began immediately. She has already undergone procedures, including a bone marrow biopsy, and the family is now waiting on critical results. Her treatment requires long hospital stays, strict monitoring, and round-the-clock care.

Through all of this, Jordie still smiles.
