Help Jorden Sisneros Get Life-Changing Neurological Treatment

My name is Daniel Maes, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit on behalf of someone very important to me - Jorden Sisneros, the mother of our beautiful daughter, Danica.

In November of 2023, Jorden suffered a devastating hypoxic-ischemic brain injury following cardiac arrest during her recovery. This traumatic event has completely altered the course of her life. Once independent and full of life, she now requires around-the-clock care. She is unable to walk, speak clearly, or perform even the most basic daily routines on her own.

Watching someone you love go through this kind of pain and loss of independence is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. It’s heartbreaking. But even with these struggles, there is hope.

We’ve discovered a promising neurological treatment called Perispinal Etanercept, offered at the Institute of Neurological Recovery in Boca Raton, Florida. This innovative treatment has shown real, measurable improvements in patients who’ve suffered similar injuries. Jorden is scheduled for two treatments—one week apart—on July 21st and July 22nd and July 28th and July 29th. The cost is $10,000 per treatment, and unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by insurance.

In total, we are trying to raise $25,000 to cover:

• The cost of both treatments

• Travel to and from Florida

• Basic accommodations during her care

Our circle is small, but our faith is strong. Our daughter Danica, still sees her mother for who she truly is, a light, and a source of unconditional love. I want nothing more than for Jorden to be able to watch Danica grow up, to be able to hold her hand again, and to share in all the beautiful moments that still lie ahead.

It’s not easy for me to ask for help. But this is bigger than pride. This is about giving Jorden a second chance—a chance to reclaim parts of the life that this injury took away.
