Help Jordan's International Volunteer Work & Land
Donation protected
Hello! I am Jordan Sadie, graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) on May 24th, 2023, with an Advertising and Marketing major and a Psychology minor. My immediate plans after college are to go to Alberta, Canada, and volunteer at a 50-person Christian farm to learn what it takes to homestead, grow food organically, build, use green energy, and care for a self-sufficient community. After that, I am spending five months in Grenada working on a cacao farm with local Grenadians to learn more about food and manual labor to help me prepare for my goal of having my own homestead property!
I am currently working on a contract basis and not earning a stable income. Above working a corporate job, my priority is to be a homemaker, provider, builder, and nurturer for communities doing their best to get off-grid. I have many, many digital skills and feel I need to get my manual, life-saving skills up! For the next year, I will be doing just that, and I would love your help to make that possible. After that year, I will look into co-purchasing land in the Caribbean or Central/South America.
Here are some things I would love to accomplish with your help:
- An emergency fund for any medical or immigration issues while I am outside of America
- Coverage of flights to farming destinations
- Food and road/train transportation within Canada and Grenada
- My monthly phone bill for outside the country
- A down payment towards purchasing 5 acres for a homestead
Thank you so much!
