As parents, we want to provide for the needs of our children and offer them the greatest opportunities for a bright future. However, even though it can be difficult and humbling to do so, we sometimes have to ask for help from friends and family.

With that being said..

I would like to share with you about our son. We are the proud parents of an amazing, strong, and bright boy named Jordan. Jordan is 11 years old and has never been able to walk —independently— because he was born with a rare condition called arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC). This condition causes stiffness and limited movement in his joints, making it impossible for him to stand or walk on his own.

Despite everything he’s faced, Jordan is full of life, laughter, and dreams. He loves hanging out with his friends, swimming, whooping butt in UNO and has the biggest heart. He’s watched other kids run and play and has always wished he could join them instead of watching from the sidelines.

After years of searching and eventually just accepting that it was not a possibility we finally have an answer: This year at the AMC conference we found so many connections.Meeting Dr. Feldman was truly life-changing for us — for the first time, we met a doctor who was not only confident but genuinely excited about the possibility of Jordan walking, thanks to the surgeries he has spent over a decade perfecting. Unlike the many doctors before who only spoke of wheelchairs and limitations, Dr. Feldman opened doors we never knew were possible, and meeting him in person made that hope feel real. He was so down-to-earth and spoke to Jordan with such kindness and respect, making him feel seen and heard. His wife even gave me her direct contact information, and they told us they could get us in for our first consult in as little as two weeks — an opportunity that feels like the start of a whole new chapter for Jordan and our family. Dr. Feldman, a world-renowned specialist in Florida, believes he can perform the complex surgery that Jordan needs to straighten his legs and redirect his hips and give him the chance not only stand up but walk independently. This surgery, along with intensive physical therapy, could change his entire future — giving him more independence, confidence, and the freedom every child deserves.

But we can’t do this alone. The cost of the surgery, physical therapy, travel to Florida, lodging for the two months after and the months of rehabilitation that follow are far more than we can afford on our own. We have to purchase a separate health Insurance that Dr. Feldman works with, and the rest must come out of pocket.

We are humbly asking for your help to make Jordan’s dream come true. Every single donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward getting Jordan to Dr. Feldman and covering his surgery and recovery.
