Help Jordan & Kasey Rebuild After Flood

My name is Sharla Fraker-Zubulake. Last week my brother Jordan Fraker and his fiancee Kasey Jensen were devastated by a flash flood in their home in Kellogg, Iowa. They just moved into their dream home in this small town one year ago. Overnight into Tuesday morning, a river in their county overflowed so much that for more than a dozen houses in their neighborhood, basements and first floors of homes were completely destroyed! Mud, cornstalks and water filled their finished basement to the ceiling. The windows busted out from the pressure, filthy mud coating everything. The river basically ran through the house and garage. The metal fenced-in backyard haven was completely wiped out. They have already spent 6 long, hard days digging through thick heavy mud to remove all of their belongings and rip out all the drywall in their basement. Anything in the basement was ruined, including all electronics, appliances, furniture, and things they've worked their whole lives for! They weren't required to have flood insurance in their area, and their home insurance will only be covering $5000 of the estimated $125,000 worth of damage done. You know the saying, every little bit helps and that is so true in this case. They've already had to spend an estimated $40,000 in less than a week in flood related expenses.
