On the evening of June 23rd, our friend and neighbor, Jordan, experienced every parent’s worst nightmare. After a long day at work, he returned home to discover that an electrical fire in the attic caused by the home’s air conditioning unit had devastated the home he shared with his two sons. In a matter of moments, they lost nearly everything.
Thankfully, Jordan and his boys are safe, and for that we are incredibly grateful. While no belongings can replace what was lost, their lives were spared, and that is what matters most. Jordan is a hardworking, devoted single father who has always put his children first. He works tirelessly to provide for his family, and now he is faced with the overwhelming challenge of rebuilding their lives from the ground up. With the new school year quickly approaching, his focus is on creating stability for his boys and replacing the everyday essentials they need.
Unfortunately, Jordan did not have renters insurance at the time of the fire, leaving the family to start over with very little. Every donation will go directly toward helping them recover and rebuild, including:
* Temporary housing and living expenses
* Clothing, shoes, and toiletries
* School supplies and backpacks
* Beds, bedding, and household essentials
* Furniture and other necessities to create a new home
