On May 21, Jordan started a normal warm up at the gym. In a freak accident & despite having a spotter, the bench press bar and weights totaling 240 pounds fell across his neck. He was quickly transported to the ICU where he was unable to be intubated due to the swelling. Jordan received an emergency tracheostomy, had a lung collapse, was diagnosed with a “massive” hole in his windpipe, received a chest tube, and was put on a ventilator. After a scary first night in the ICU, his entire family is in awe at a quick change of prognosis, as the hole in his windpipe is no longer there, praise God!

Unfortunately, Jordan was supposed to start his new job with the Sahuarita Police Department next week and is currently without insurance for a brief period of time before starting the job. All of these medical expenses will need to be covered out of pocket. Cristi-Ana is also needing to take time off work to care for Jordan, as he will be going home with a trach and need extensive speech and occupational therapy as they work to heal his vocal cords and body. He is not out of the woods yet, but he is on the right path!

The first thing Cristi-Ana is asking for is prayer - we serve a mighty God and He has already performed mighty miracles!! Due to several requests from friends, we are starting this GoFundMe for the Albrights in case you are able to help them financially at this time. For a young couple married less than 8 months & anticipating a new career start that is now indefinitely postponed, this comes as a financial shock & we would love to provide them with as much as we can to be put toward the hospital bills and therapists. 100% of donations will be given to Cristi-Ana & Jordan Albright to put toward medical expenses.
