My name is Jordan, and I am reaching out because I am facing ongoing, complex health issues that have drastically changed my life. Over the past year, I have been hospitalized 18 times while navigating hemiplegic migraines, trigeminal neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, seizures, and an underlying autoimmune disorder that doctors are still working to identify.

My symptoms include numbness on one side of my face and arm, severe neurological pain, and episodes that make everyday life incredibly challenging. I have undergone countless tests and treatments, including chiropractic care, occupational therapy, physical therapy, EMGs, nerve blocks, Botox, rescue medications, and pain management. While these treatments help manage some symptoms, they do not eliminate the pain or provide answers. The uncertainty of not knowing what is truly happening has taken a significant emotional and financial toll.

At this stage in my medical journey, I am now scheduled for a lumbar puncture, a facial MRI, a brain MRI, and a lower back MRI, as doctors are investigating the possibility of a CSF (cerebrospinal fluid) leak. These upcoming tests are critical in helping determine the cause of my symptoms and guiding the next steps in treatment, but they also add to the growing medical expenses.

Before my health declined, I worked six days a week for 16 years in the same industry. When my company closed, I was forced to find new employment, which came with a significant pay cut. Despite everything, I am still working and pushing through each day—often in considerable pain—just trying to make it through. Between reduced income, mounting medical bills, and ongoing testing, my savings have been exhausted simply trying to stay afloat.

I am now struggling to cover monthly bills while continuing necessary medical care. Financial support would allow me to keep up with these upcoming tests, medications, and medical expenses, and potentially seek specialized care in another area where doctors may be able to look deeper and provide answers. Being able to breathe financially would mean focusing on healing instead of constantly worrying about which bill won’t get paid.

Asking for help is not easy. I am usually the one supporting others, but I’ve reached a point where I cannot do this alone. Any donations will go toward medical bills, prescription medications, additional imaging and testing, travel to specialists if needed, and basic living expenses while I continue searching for answers.
