❤️ Help Support Jordan’s Fight ❤️

Our beautiful boy Jordan, only 19 years old, is currently in the ICU, fighting harder than he has ever had to fight. He was so fit and healthy, and nothing could have prepared us for how suddenly his life changed. Right now we’re facing a lot of unknowns. We don’t know what the next few days, weeks, or months will look like, but we do know that Jordan is strong, loved, and not fighting this battle alone.

In September, Jordan took off to Bangkok to begin his professional basketball career, a dream he had worked years for. After his first week of games, he suddenly became seriously ill. He spent four days in a Bangkok hospital, receiving treatment until he was finally stable enough to fly home for further care.

Basketball has always been Jordan’s greatest passion. He has trained and mentored countless athletes, from local kids starting their journey to international athletes chasing big dreams. Through MVP Basketball Academy, Jordan has dedicated himself to helping young players build their skills, confidence, and love for the game. Nothing makes him happier than seeing a child succeed on the court.

When we returned to Australia, Jordan was in and out of hospital, with doctors struggling to understand what was making him so unwell. On his third hospital visit, everything changed. Jordan deteriorated rapidly and became critically ill with a collapsed lung and severe pneumonia. Within days he was rushed to ICU, placed on a ventilator, and put into an induced coma because his lungs had completely stopped working.

It was the most devastating news we have ever received. The next morning, when we received a call from the doctors, our hearts shattered into a million pieces as they told us Jordan needed a life-saving procedure urgently or he would not survive.

Jordan is now being kept alive by an ECMO machine, something we had never even heard of, but it has saved our boy’s life and given doctors more time to work out what is happening inside his body. He has undergone hundreds of tests, including extremely rare ones, and every single one has come back negative. We are still waiting for answers.
