Help Jordan Fernandez Bring "A Dead End" to Life
Donation protected
Hello! My name is Jordan Fernandez. I am a senior film student at Fairleigh Dickinson University. I am making my senior thesis film this year titled, "A Dead End." I wish to make this film to showcase all of the skills I have learned throughout my four years of college and to help jumpstart my filmmaking career.
Logline: "A Dead End" is a short drama film about two estranged brothers who struggle to reconnect following their mother's death. Tension grows between them as their personal differences and resentments towards each other force them to confront their strained relationship, and they must decide whether to move forward or remain estranged forever.
Synopsis:
Nate and Travis have gone their separate ways following their mother's death, with Nate going off to college and Travis living with his adoptive mother, Lisa. On Travis' 18th birthday, Nate shows up at his house after months of not speaking to him and takes him out to dinner. Travis, having dropped out of high school and unhappy with his current living situation, is faced with the possibility of enlisting into the Army, something that he neglects to tell Nate about, leading to a fierce argument between them. As tensions grow between them, Nate and Travis must decide to either make amends or completely go their separate ways.
