Three years ago, I lost my mom to cancer. Her passing was devastating, and I had to step away from school to grieve and take care of my mental health. This time away was necessary, but it also meant putting my education and future on hold. Now, as I work to rebuild and move forward, I am facing significant financial challenges. I am struggling to pay for tuition and housing, and I need help to complete my education so I can reach my goals.

My dream is to graduate with a degree in biology and then attend graduate school. I am passionate about making a difference in pharmaceutical research, contributing to the advancement of life-changing drugs, and supporting cancer research. Beyond my own career, I want to create mentorship programs for black and brown students, encouraging them to pursue careers in the sciences and helping to build a more inclusive and supportive community.
