Help Jordan Live His Basketball Dream

Jordan is a young man who gives so much, yet asks for nothing.

He has faced more heartbreak than most of us could imagine, losing his grandparents, father, and older siblings to generational family violence. Despite this, he has steps up in the most selfless way. He is also a young carer for his younger siblings, both of whom are autistic and live with intellectual disabilities.

Jordan balances caring responsibilities with his passion for basketball. He has proudly represented prestigious rep clubs like the Frankston Blues and Chelsea Gulls, and even coaches U12s and U16s, giving his time freely to help the next generation of players.

Recently, Jordan went to an AUSA Hoops trial. He wasn’t even sure he would be chosen, but they saw his potential and gave him a free trial because we couldn’t afford the fee. Now, Jordan has the opportunity of a lifetime: to travel to America, play basketball, and be seen by scouts who could open doors for his future.

This is a chance to change his life forever.

But as a single mum, who can only work part-time while I can care for my other children, I cannot afford the costs of contracts, flights, food, and insurance alone. I will save and scrape together everything I possibly can, but I won't be able to do this in time without help.

So I am doing the one thing I dont like to do, I’m asking you, from the bottom of my heart, to help me give Jordan this chance.

He is a remarkable young man who gives back to everyone around him please, let’s come together to give him the opportunity he truly deserves.
