Over the past 8 years and 6 months at Taekwon Kids, I have experienced and learned more than I could ever have imagined.

Especially during the five years of leading the poomsae team, traveling to countless tournaments together, I was blessed to create memories with my students that I will truly cherish for a lifetime.

Now, as I close that deeply grateful chapter, I am stepping into a new beginning — launching ILDO TAEKWONDO this coming January.

Through my time at Taekwon Kids, I witnessed how Taekwondo helps students gain confidence, persevere through challenges, and achieve their goals through discipline and consistency.

In an age full of distractions and instant gratification, I’ve come to believe more than ever that Taekwondo is a profoundly valuable education — one that teaches focus, patience, and the pursuit of long-term goals.

The name ILDO (一到) carries the meaning of “reaching through oneness” — when the mind focuses on a single purpose, anything can be achieved.

With that spirit, I have decided to take this step of faith and begin a dojang that cultivates true focus, discipline, and character.

Moreover, my hope is that ILDO Taekwondo will not chase worldly values, but instead reflect the goodness and love of God — passing them on to every student I will meet in the future.

I am preparing and praying that this dojang becomes a place where those values are lived out in action.

As this journey is just beginning, I still have much to learn and prepare, and there are financial challenges ahead.
