Help the Stallings Soper Family Relocate after LA Fires

Hello, my name is Rachel Stallings Thomander and I live in Santa Cruz, CA. I am raising money to support my brother Jonny Stallings, sister-in-law Natalie Soper, and their two young children who were displaced in the LA/Altadena fire.

The fires and damage have forced them to make an emergency and unexpected move to Utah. Their children’s school and much of their community burned down, and unfortunately, their home is currently uninhabitable. Additionally, Jonny broke his right foot this month, making this an especially challenging time to resettle.

The money raised here will help them relocate to a new city. It will go towards moving and transporting costs, re-establishing careers, replacing damaged items and school costs.

Furniture, possessions and clothing was all damaged by smoke, ash and toxic fumes from the fire; in addition to needing restoration; some of it will need to be replaced and in any case it all needs to be removed.

Both parents are in search of new work opportunities in Utah due to the forced relocation.

Their car broke down during evacuation process and had to be sold to a local junk yard and they are now needing to buy a new used car.
