Hello!

My name is Edie and I am asking for donations for my cat Joni’s biopsy.

Joni is my sweet cat who is almost fifteen years old and is diagnosed with FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). She started experiencing symptoms of a tooth infection about three weeks ago. After putting her under anesthesia for a dental cleaning and examination, the vet was concerned that Joni may have an infection or possibly a cancerous tumor. Since the examination and following medication, Joni's condition has not improved and she has not been eating well. The vet has now recommended that the best step forward would be to do a full biopsy and X-rays of her infection to determine its cause and prescribe the course of treatment.

The cost for the numerous appointments and medication has already exceeded $2,000. Paying for the recommended biopsy would be more than my finances could handle. I am a musician, student, and have been working in the food industry for many years. Joni is my best friend and an incredible pet. She is very silly and outgoing, and lately I haven’t seen the many parts of her personality that make her so amazing.
