I never imagined I’d be facing cancer for the second time in just eight months. The news hit me hard, and now I’m preparing for two months of daily chemotherapy and radiation. It’s a lot to take in, but I’m determined to keep fighting and get through this with hope and courage.

The costs are overwhelming—significant copays, medical devices, and daily transportation to appointments are just the start. Because I live on my boat, I also need to move it into a marina so home health attendants can care for me while I heal. Every day brings new challenges, but I’m doing my best to stay strong and focus on recovery.
