Help Jonathan's family as he fights for his life

On 8/5/21 my big brother, Jonathan Padilla, was hospitalized with COVID 19. While in the hospital his condition worsened resulting in Jonathan being intubated on 8/15. The doctors stated Jonathan has Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). The hospital began making exceptions for compassionate care visits so my sister in law and parents could visit Jonathan as his health deteriorated. On 8/25 our family was told Jonathan was running out of time and was not responding to any treatments available at our local hospital in Vero Beach, FL. Our world was crashing down around us, and all we could do was pray to St. Jude for a miracle. By a series of miracles, Jonathan was transferred to Cleveland, OH to receive more intense treatment, including ECMO. At just 39 years old, my brother is fighting for his life.

Jonathan is loved by his family, and known as a Gentle Giant. Jonathan the oldest of 4 and our parents only son has always been a protector. He is best known for his sense of humor and wit. My brother married his soul mate, Janeiby, on 3/17/12. Together they have two young boys, Joseph (9) and Jeremy (7). Along with their sons they have 3 dogs that Jonathan loves dearly. Jonathan is a devoted father, and family man.

Jonathan works 2 jobs to provide for his family. Due to the uncertainty of his condition, we are asking for donations to assist Janeiby and their sons. Donations will be used to help Janeiby travel to Ohio to visit Jonathan in the ICU, medical expenses, and to help take some financial burden off of Janeiby as Jonathan continues to fight these horrible complications due to COVID.
