Help Jonathan's Cousin After Losing His Home
Donation protected
My name is Jonathan Meza. I am mental health counselor serving the Los Angeles region and a US Army veteran. I live in North East Los Angeles and I have lived in Southern California all my life. I've seen fires, earthquakes and floods in my lifetime, but my heart is especially heavy during this time of loss and grief and readjustment for many affected by the LA wildfires and the displacements it has caused. This fundraiser is a personal one. My cousin has sadly lost his home in Altadena due to the Eaton fire, and he is facing the enormous challenge of starting over. The blaze happened so quickly that he was barely able to take a few essential items with him in his vehicle during the evacuation. Everything else is gone. You can see the charred remains of where his home once stood in the image I have shared. My cousin is a humble guy, and it's rare for him to ask for help. With his permission, I am setting up this GoFundMe to help ease the burden of replacing that which can be replaced. My cousin has always been there for me when I needed him, and it would mean the world if the community can lend some support for him. These funds will assist with helping him get back on his feet after this devastating loss. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
