Many of you may or may not know ...
Jonathan was born in Mexico and moved to the U.S. (Rogers, Arkansas) when he was only 8 years old. He has yet to become a U.S. Citizen.
He started the 3rd grade not knowing any English. First meeting him you would never know. He’s lived here the majority of his life. He graduated from Rogers High School. He is very close with his family, who all live in Northwest Arkansas. He loves sports, music, food, hunting, fishing and his cowboy boots. He loves his family. And he loves his roots but, this is his HOME.
Jonathan and I met after we moved to Arkansas in 2004. We became immediate friends. He is kind, loving, funny and smart. He has this outgoing and adventurous personality. He works hard and does anything for his loved ones. Fast forward 8 years to 2012, we welcomed our first child a son Jonathan Jr. Two years later in 2014, we welcomed our second child a daughter Ariel Ariana Lee. A little over one year later in 2016, we tied the knot. I have spent half of my life loving and building a life with this man. Despite the ups and downs life has thrown at us, neither of us are perfect. But he is by far one of the greatest people I have ever met. And I am blessed to call Jonathan my Husband, the Father of our children and my best friend. He is most definitely my better half. He is the most wonderful Daddy and takes so much pride in his kids. He has been there for every 1st that Jony and Ariel have had (up to now), doctors’ appointments, sports events, holidays, birthdays, health issues, early Saturday morning donut dates, kissing boo-boos, king of the piggy back, fort maker, dance party partner and so so much more. As little Jonathan likes to call him "Daddy Best". He is our biggest supporter. He is our rock. Without my him our family is not complete.
Unfortunately, unexpectedly ... Jonathan is facing deportation back to Mexico, due to past mistakes; mistakes that he has paid for. And like myself and many of you might be able to relate to, a past that sometimes we aren't so proud of but have worked very hard to overcome and succeed on the right path. I am proud of my Husband!
But he is now set to be transported into Federal custody, to Louisiana the first weekend of May. He has not been home or able to see our babies since March 24th.
We are told there is a possibility of this being a lengthy process. That could possibly keep him there for 3 months to over a year. There are no guarantees that our fight to keep him here will be successful. However, We will not give up. We are determined and hopeful.
Undeniable, the stress’ of every day life … job, kids, doctors, finances etc. has definitely been extremely challenging. Having our family separated has been even more difficult for the kids and I, as well as our immediate families. We love and miss him more than we can express.

With the circumstances ... Jonathan was forced to resign from a great job. Now leaving us one income short to support our family. I am unable to afford all of our expenses along with all of the legal fees plus travel costs, in our attempt to keep Jonathan in Arkansas.
We are tremendously thankful for our family, friends and church family who have stood behind us with their outpouring of support and prayers. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are forever grateful. Most importantly, it is not without God’s strength, will and guidance that we will overcome this.
I humbly ask for your support. Please help us bring Jonathan home. Anything is deeply appreciated and will make a huge difference in our families lives. Please keep us in your prayers. Thank you and God bless.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6)
