Last week I was earning straight A's , and on the Dean’s List, and working towards a degree in criminal justice- something I have wanted to do since serving my country. Today, I’m in a wheel chair and with crutches. I blew it. I was riding home from NA meeting (eight years clean) on my scooter (to save gas money!) and I hit a speed bump and fell. I fell hard. Split my right knee cap into three pieces! Ouch!! Now I’m bedridden for two months and I need help. My goal is simple: to recover, earn my degree and then serve my community in law enforcement the same way i served my country - with pride and courage. Unfortunately, this happened at the worst possible time, and I need help. I’m not asking for a handout. I’m asking you to believe in me and invest in my future to serve and protect my community.
