Hello everyone, my name is Iwona, and I am reaching out on behalf of my beloved son, Jonathan. While on summer vacation in Poland, Jonathan suffered a major traumatic brain injury in an unexpected accident. He was rushed by ambulance to a hospital in Ełk, where the medical team performed emergency neurosurgery to relieve pressure on his brain, saving his life. Jonathan is now in the ICU, in a medically-induced coma, fighting for his life. The local medical staff are doing everything they can, but the reality of an international medical crisis is overwhelming. Our US health insurance does not cover his prolonged ICU stay, specialized neurological treatments, or the eventual medical repatriation needed to bring him home.

Jonathan faces a long road ahead. He cannot fly commercially due to the severity of his injury, and will require extended critical care and rehabilitation in Poland. When he is stable enough, he will need a costly specialist medical transport to return home for long-term neurological rehabilitation. The funds raised will go directly toward emergency hospital fees, daily ICU care, specialized neurological consults, surgical follow-ups, rehabilitation costs in Poland, and the medical transport required for his safe return. Every dollar will be used transparently for these urgent healthcare expenses.
