My name is Anton Wolkenstein and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my best friend, Jonathan Young, a 27 year old Automotive Technician for Audi from Hackensack, NJ. John is the kind of person who lights up any room with his witty jokes and endless creativity. Tragically, on October 1st, John suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and he’s now in a medically induced coma at Hackensack Meridian Hospital as doctors have worked tirelessly to him in the ICU.

John is a loving partner to his girlfriend, Tihany. His unexpected medical emergency has left his family facing immense emotional and financial challenges. The road to recovery will be long, requiring intensive care, rehabilitation, and ongoing medical support. As Jonathan fights for his life, we’re coming together to ensure he and his family have the resources they need to focus on his healing.

We’re raising $30,000 to cover:

• $18,000 for ICU and hospital expenses, including life-saving treatments and monitoring.

• $7,000 for anticipated rehabilitation and physical therapy to help John regain his strength.

• $5,000 for living expenses for Tihany, who has taken time off work to be by his side, and to cover travel costs for family visits.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help ease the burden on Jonathan’s family and give him the best chance at recovery. If we surpass our goal, any additional funds will support John’s long-term care or be donated to a heart health charity in his name.
