Help Jonathan Heal After a Tragic Shooting
On the night of September 13th, around 10:30 PM, Jonathan was riding his bike to In-N-Out near Baseline and 48th Street when his life changed forever. Near Rustler’s Roost, he was shot in the back and exited his abdomen by a random person in a white car.
In shock and fighting for his life, Jonathan managed to call his mother, Brenda, and then 911. He was rushed into emergency surgery where doctors worked tirelessly to save him. They removed his appendix, gallbladder, half of his kidney, and part of his colon, and repaired a hole in his liver caused by the bullet.
Right now, Jonathan is in the ICU, intubated and heavily sedated. He is scheduled for another surgery on Monday, 9/15/25, and his recovery will be long and uncertain.
As you can imagine, this has completely turned his family’s world upside down. His mother, Brenda, wants nothing more than to be by his side through every surgery, every difficult day, and every step of his healing. But that means time away from work and the stress of mounting bills.
We are asking for your help so Brenda doesn’t have to worry about losing their home or falling behind on bills while she focuses on what matters most—Jonathan’s recovery.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward supporting Johnathan and Brenda during this unimaginable time.
We are also asking the community that if you saw anything please come forward and let us or law enforcement know.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generosity, prayers, and love. Your support means everything.
