On April 1, 2025, my brother Jonathan’s life changed forever. He suffered severe burns covering 45.6% of his total body surface area (TBSA)— with 33.6% 2nd-degree burns and 12% 3rd-degree burns. What followed was not just a medical emergency — it became a fight for survival.

Jonathan spent:

• 33 days in the Trauma ICU

• 14 days on a ventilator

• 50 days with a tracheostomy

• 63 days total in the hospital

• 11 days total inpatient rehab services
