Help Jonathan Fight

Hi, my name is Kristen and I am Jonathan’s sister. I am hoping to raise money to support Jonathan while he is currently battling for his life.

Jonathan had been diagnosed with cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure in 2010 after suffering a stroke. Before this, he had never had any cardiac issues. After multiple inpatient stays, doctors visits, testing and establishing a medication regimen, the doctors were able to stabilize him. In 2017, he was getting sicker and sicker and was in cardiogenic shock where his heart was failing fast and unable to supply his body with the blood and oxygen it needed. He ended up being referred to Tufts Medical Center in Boston to have an LVAD ( Left Ventricular Assist Device) put in as a bridge to keep him alive to be able to get a heart transplant. He has now been on the waiting list for 4 years and 3 weeks ago things took a turn for the worst. Jonathan had a complication with his LVAD, which caused kidney damage. Because of this, he had to be put on ECMO to be kept alive. Since being admitted 3 weeks ago at Tufts, he has slowly declined. He is now on ECMO, dialysis, iv medications and a ventilator. His lungs, kidneys, heart and liver are all in very tough shape. We’re just hoping and praying for a miracle at this point.

During this time while he is fighting for his life, my family and I are asking for help to cover Jonathan’s bills and expenses while he is in the ICU. Anything at all would be greatly appreciated….especially positive vibes and prayers.
