Help Jonathan Attend a Selective AI Research Program

Hey everyone! My name is Jonathan Alcineus and I am a graduating senior at Florida State University studying Statistics and Computer Science.

All of this, while being a Federal Pell Grant Recipient and working throughout college.

However, I am ready to take the next step into becoming an engineer working focused on human-centered AI.

I was fortunate to be accepted into the Algoverse AI Research Program for Summer 2025 and successfully negotiated my scholarship to cover 40% of the total tuition cost of $3,325. However, I would still have a $1,995 balance I would need to cover. As I am working a part-time job, finishing up my last semester of college, and managing living expenses, it is challenging for me to cover the rest of this cost.

My immediate goal is to raise $665 to cover the first payment of the program.

Working under experienced AI researchers and the ability to work on and publish a paper through Algoverse AI would help me strengthen my graduate school application and prepare me for research I would do throughout my career. You're support would help me to an engineer who builds AI for good. Any support, financial or sharing my story, means a lot.
