Help Jonathan and Alex Heal and Recover

Solidarity with Jonathan and Alex, two brothers in need of medical procedures. The NYC Migrant Solidarity community is uplifting calls to support a family undergoing medical hardships in this time:
Jonathan, 19, is currently in the hospital with a tumor. He is undergoing treatment and has been in the hospital more than 2 weeks now, and is in need of a surgery to remove it. Unfortunately, his brother, Alex, 21, was recently in a construction accident in which he fell that led to severe injuries. The ones sustained on his arms will lead to and require surgery.
The family has been self-organizing to raise funds, and community has already come together to support - organizers learned of the family's situation through a vendor's market event that was organized by community as a way of showing support and starting to raise funds. We believe in following the lead of community and listening: we are in close contact with family members and continue to honor/center their requests at this time.
They could still use more support to cover the hospital stays, cost of treatment, surgeries and to facilitate a dignified recovery for both brothers and as solidarity with the family members. The goal is tentatively $15,000.
We must support and continue to be in solidarity with our neighbors, especially our diasporic community in the face of ongoing state violence!
Thank you community for your ongoing solidarity and community care.
Nos necesitamos, y nos cuidamos.
