My name is lake and I'm responsible for this fundraiser since the refugee camp can not create a fundraiser in their own country. All proceeds will go to Jonah and their refugee camp.

Here is Jonah's story:

My name is Jonah, and I am a member and leader of a small LGBTQ+ refugee community living in a camp where safety, food, and basic human dignity are not guaranteed. Every day, we face discrimination, fear, and harsh living conditions simply because of who we are. Many of us have fled violence and persecution in our home countries, hoping to find safety but the struggle continues here.

I am raising funds to support our community’s most urgent needs. This includes access to food, clean water, safe shelter, medical care, and other basic necessities like clothing and hygiene supplies. We also hope to create a safer space within the camp where LGBTQ+ individuals can feel protected, supported, and less alone.

This cause is deeply important to me because these are not just strangers, I live this reality every day, and these are my friends, my family, and my community. We are doing our best to survive, but we cannot do it alone.
