We are STOP Global Inc., a youth suicide awareness and prevention nonprofit founded by BL & Brenda George in 2018 in Brazoria County, Texas. As of today, we have reached over 200,000 students in 5 states. Our mission is prevention, education, and healing. Today, we invite you to support someone very special—Jonah Barrow, one of our elite school speakers and a courageous survivor of a failed suicide attempt.
Jonah’s Story
Jonah’s life was forever changed after a failed suicide attempt left him with both a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and a Spinal Cord Injury. Despite the overwhelming challenges, Jonah has faced his recovery with incredible strength and determination. After months of intensive rehabilitation at TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston, Texas, he has made remarkable progress in regaining mobility and rebuilding his life.
Now, Jonah is ready to give back. He wants to use his voice and lived experience to help others who are battling suicidal thoughts—especially young people, showing them that healing is possible and that they are never alone.
How You Can Help
To make this possible, Jonah needs a crucial vehicle modification: electric hand controls that meet ADA compliance standards. The estimated cost is $2,500. This upgrade will be done by Mobility Works and will allow him to travel with STOP Global Inc. to speak at schools, community centers, and awareness events—sharing his powerful story of survival and hope. The modified vehicle will also help his mother get to her medical appointments, as she remains his primary caregiver and support system.

- Associated costs to ensure safe and reliable transportation for Jonah and his mom
- Travel support as Jonah begins his journey as a youth mental health advocate
