Help Jonah perform at the IWBC!
Donation protected
Hi everyone! My name is Jonah Zimmerman, a recent graduate of the Florida State University College of Music.
I was incredibly fortunate to receive an invitation to perform works by Hope Salmonson and Kevin Day for a New Works Recital at the 2024 International Women’s Brass Conference hosted in Mito City, Japan. While at the International Women’s Brass Conference, I look forward to representing myself and the United States in the New Works Recital and the Division I Susan Slaughter Solo Competition. This is a conference that I have been longing to go to for quite some time and it being in Japan this year is the opportunity of a lifetime!
Since I have just graduated from FSU, I have been paying for travel, lodging, and registration/competition/accompanist fees out of pocket. I greatly appreciate your help to fulfill this crazy dream of mine! No amount is too little.
To provide incentive especially to fellow musicians, I am providing several tiers worth of instruction in return for donations. Please make sure to leave your name and indicate that you would like the lesson when you donate so that I will know who to reach out to! Lessons will be in Zoom, but can be given in person depending on proximity.
