Help Jonah Eisenberg Recover from a Medical Crisis
Jonah Seth Eisenberg, a 52-year-old Navy veteran and radioman who served on the USS Guadalcanal (LPH-7), has always been a fighter. He has dedicated his life to serving others—both in uniform and in his community. Jonah is also a single dad/grandfather raising a 14-year-old grandson. But now, he faces the most brutal battle of his life and needs our help.
Four weeks ago, Jonah went to the ER with what he thought was just the flu. It turned out to be much more serious—pneumonia had taken hold of his lungs. He was admitted to the hospital, where doctors worked to stabilize him. Then, just two days later, another devastating blow came: he was diagnosed with cellulitis in his left foot.
Since then, Jonah has undergone five surgeries to combat the infection, trying to save his foot and prevent further complications. The physical toll has been immense, but the emotional and financial strain on Jonah and his family has been just as heavy. He is still in the hospital, fighting to recover, and the road ahead includes extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and the uncertainty of what comes next.
As a veteran, Jonah has always stepped up for others. Now, it’s our turn to step up for him. The medical bills are piling up, and he will need ongoing treatment, physical therapy, and assistance once he is discharged. We are asking for donations to help cover his medical expenses, rehabilitation, and living costs during this difficult time.
Every contribution—big or small—will make a difference. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing Jonah’s story with others. Let’s rally around Jonah and show him the same strength and support he has always given to those around him.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness. Let’s help Jonah get back on his feet—literally and figuratively!
Donate today and be a part of Jonah’s journey to recovery.
